Greenway Medical Technologies' PrimeSuite Wins Three Best in KLAS Awards

Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc. today announced that its fully integrated, single-database electronic health record (EHR), practice management and interoperability solution, PrimeSuite® 2011, won three "Best in KLAS" awards in the annual 2009 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Professional Services report.

For practices having between six and 25 physicians, PrimeSuite Chart was named Best in KLAS in ambulatory EMR for the fourth consecutive year and PrimeSuite Practice in practice management for the second consecutive year. PrimeSuite Chart was also named Best in KLAS in ambulatory EMR for the second consecutive year for practices having between two and five physicians.

Overall, Greenway Medical Technologies has received Best in KLAS awards in all three categories for two consecutive years.

To reach its awards conclusions, KLAS surveys hospital and clinic executives, administrators, physicians, nurses, and other directors and managers with business responsibilities regarding their experience with health information technology. KLAS routinely surveys approximately 5,000 hospitals and nearly 3,000 ambulatory organizations annually.

"People ask me why Greenway keeps leading in the KLAS arena, and I firmly believe it has to do with our road map for success that we implement with each customer and the usability of our innovative PrimeSuite 2011 service. This recognition continues to prove that Greenway ensures the happiness and success of its customer base and that we have the most usable integrated ambulatory EHR solution in the healthcare industry," said Greenway President Tee Green. "We appreciate the diligence KLAS brings to its annual rankings, and these three Best in KLAS awards culminate an important year for Greenway and its more than 22,000 healthcare provider customer base as PrimeSuite 2011 also just became one of the first EHRs to receive pre-market conditional CCHIT Certified® 2011 Comprehensive certification."

On December 8th, PrimeSuite 2011 earned CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR status with additional certification for Child Health and Cardiovascular Medicine with optional Advanced Reporting, in the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT), Comprehensive certification program. During the Comprehensive certification evaluation, PrimeSuite 2011 exceeded the requirements of the majority of 27 proposed federal interoperability, privacy and security standards which support achievement of meaningful use.

KLAS ratings are based on a set of 25 key questions in the areas of sales and contracting, implementation and training, functionality and upgrades, service and support, and general scoring.

"For more than a decade, the Best in KLAS awards have recognized healthcare technology companies that set the standard for delivering the best experience to providers," said KLAS President Adam Gale. "The Best in KLAS distinction honors more than just a good product or service. It represents a commitment to meeting customer expectations in every phase of the buying process - from the sales presentation to implementation to ongoing service and support."
