Crunch Fitness Comes Back Swinging by Selecting IPNETZONE's High Performance Multiprotocol Label Switching Network Services

IPNETZONE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. today announced that Crunch, LLC has selected IPNETZONE's fully managed Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network and services to connect 18 fitness locations across the United States.

"We're very excited to be a part of Crunch's strategy to offer cost-effective network improvements while enabling quality of service (QoS), delivering true redundancy and future-proofing their infrastructure through our MPLS-based IP-VPN solution," says Joon Shin, President and CEO of IPNETZONE. Shin continues, "By converging all services over a unified IP-based infrastructure, Crunch can build new advanced service capabilities for both customers and personnel."

The dichotomy of "doing more with less" has always put IT departments center stage. Based on a recent report by Forrester Research, Inc., "The State of WAN Services Adoption in North America 2009" states that about 67 percent of enterprises are migrating to MPLS to deliver more. As part of the strategic decision to drive long-term simplification of operational management, IT departments are increasingly looking to purchase managed services.

Gerald Ribeiro, Director, Information Technology of Crunch, LLC, concurs. "Unifying our voice and data communications is a key factor in our growth strategy for 2010 and IPNETZONE has a proven track record with MPLS implementations. We were able to significantly reduce costs while improving the quality of our network with the MPLS-based solutions."

"Based on the protocol neutrality, adaptability, metrics support and network scalability, MPLS has been a key piece of technology in our managed services portfolio," says Shin.
